Racine Art Mumseum will behaving free admission and extended hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., artists Jennifer Angus and JoAnna Poehlmann will lead a tour behind-the-scenes of the “All the Buzz: Insects Invade RAM” exhibit. Additionally, individuals may also create artwork inspired by “All the Buzz” from 4 – 8 p.m.

Current Milwaukee mayor & governor candidate came to Racine for second consecutive time to campaign. No republican has visited Racine, since campaigning has started. People are surprised about that but Racine is a historically a liberal city, besides congressmen Paul Ryan.

Racine College: remodeling approved

Gateway Technical College in Racine got approved for remodeling by its board of directors. The project is estimated at over 1 million dollars. They plan on remodeling the entrances, which is needed because the building isn’t the best looking for the Racine lake front, but this could look nice. They plan on adding prairie grass & wind turbines to power parking lot lights plus upgrading the air conditioning & heating. (this is necessary in my eyes if your school that teaches air conditioning and heating you should have up to date facilities in this manner.)
